Fall Semester

At its core, a Small Group is less about what you do and more about who you do it with. We all need each other, and that’s why we have Small Groups at First Church. The Small Group semester runs now through November 23rd.

Pastor jonathan & Brenda Elms

First Church Baytown welcomes Rev. Jonathan & Brenda Elms as campus pastors. The Elms family, including Scarlet, Shayla, Savanna and Ty Edwards. They have won the hearts of this church family and community. On December 19, 2021, the congregation elected Rev. Jonathan Elms as pastor to work under senior pastor, Rev. Ken Gurley and with the First Church Network. 

First Church Baytown is one of the oldest continuing Apostolic congregations in the Houston area. Begun in 1919, this congregation was led by Rev. Bill & Judy Atchison. The church has experienced significant growth in the past year.
